Your confidence can fall for many reasons, and it doesn’t have to be just one big event – many small things could just weigh you down.
Identifying the cause
If you’re going to work on your confidence, it’s important that you’re able to figure out what’s causing you to struggle. Again, it doesn’t have to be a glaringly obvious issue, and it could be something going on behind the scenes. For example, friends that don’t seem to care, personal insecurities, and issues that you’ve been holding onto for years are cropping up from time to time.

Give yourself more

Say “no” more often
Feeling like you only exist because of what other people want can start to weigh on the mind quite a bit, and that can happen if you’re always eager to help others with their problems and not your own. Learn to say “no” from time to time, so that you might put your own interests first more often. Helping others doesn’t validate your own existence, and if you don’t give it a try, then you might be stuck feeling like that’s all you can do. If saying “no” pushes people away, it might be time to find new people.
